George Brooks - Photographer

Hey, thanks for stopping by!

I’m George – a photographer and action sports enthusiast. My photography journey began in college, where I discovered a deep passion for both the art and the technical aspects of the craft. Though I’ve always appreciated art, I struggled with the practical side until I found photography. It became the perfect medium for me to explore, experiment, and create freely. I was also drawn to the technical side of photography – there's so much to learn, and each photographer brings their unique style to the table.

I earned a BA in Photography from The University of Portsmouth, graduating in 2017. During my time at university, I gained a strong understanding of project workflows, research, and preparations that go into every photoshoot. I also had the chance to get hands-on with a variety of amazing equipment.

After graduating, I worked full-time at an indoor skatepark, where I immersed myself in the vibrant cultures that thrived in the space. I used my creativity to produce video content and photography for products in the shop and local athletes who frequented the park.

Since 2019, I’ve been the Senior Product Photographer at Capture Factory in Brighton, UK. Here, I’ve photographed a diverse range of products for businesses of all sizes – from clothing to bicycle parts, watches to dinner plates, and more. My time in the e-commerce sector has refined my technical skills behind the camera and my ability to highlight the unique details of each product. I’ve had the pleasure of working with brands like Lucy & Yak, Olivia Burton, Wiggle, and Animal, to name a few.

My clients trust me to deliver high-quality, flawless images that elevate their businesses, which is why they keep coming back!

Now, I’m branching out beyond the studio, bringing all the technical expertise and people skills I’ve developed along the way. If you’ve got a product, an idea, or a vibe that you want captured through imagery, I’m here to help bring your vision to life.
